Trip to NH
Well, it wasn't under the best of circumstances, but I wanted to post some pictures from our trip to NH. Jason wasn't able to come because of school, but Connor and I had a really fun time with the family, despite the funeral.

Still Trying to Figure this Out :(
Well...I started this blog back in January, but, sadly, I am not technically inclined. I have a hard time figuring this stuff out. I hope I get better with practice.
So much has been happening in the last little while. My grandmother died shortly after the last blog post, which just crushed our family. We finally held her memorial service a few weeks ago, and I think I've felt a little bit of closure. It's still hard not having her here anymore though.
As most everyone knows, Mitt didn't win the Republican nomination. BOOOO! We were pretty disappointed, but the world goes on. Jason and I are pretty concerned about the election in November now that Barrack Obama has secured the Democratic nomination. It looks like it will be a repeat of the 1996 election where Dole tried to oust Clinton; old guy vs young stud- NOT GOOD!
Jason finished his second year of law school, and, after being accepted to a federal judicial internship for the summer, decided to take some additional summer classes. He'll be done in a few weeks. He's looking forward to his bankruptcy internship in the fall.
I am currently working on getting my real estate license. (SURPRISE mom and dad!) I will be taking the test on Thursday. It is the HARDEST exam I've had to prepare for, even after all the tests I had to take for my Bachelor's Degree. But I have really enjoyed learning a new skill. I found a job with a broker in Riverview, but I can work from home and around my own hours, so I'm excited and feel very blessed.
Connor is just an AMAZING little guy. He loves to laugh and demands your time. I LOVE being a mom. Connor will be in nursery at the end of this month, which is just crazy, but we're extrememly happy, since he's started to become unruly running around the halls at church. I think it will be good for him to get to play with the other kids and get his first taste of primary.
The ward we were in was split a couple of months ago. Jason got called as the Executive Secretary and I was called as the Young Women's President. That of course required me to attend Girl's Camp; a venture I said I would never participate in while in FL. I actually really enjoyed it and hope I can attend more days next summer. I love the girls in our ward! They are crazy and spontaneous, like me, and they help you to remember what it was like to be their age.
Well, I guess that's the gist of our life right now. I'll post some new pictures soon so keep checking in!
